Mental health professionals are often tasked with creating a coherent understanding of the condition, but there’s also a growing body of evidence that shows that we often do not.
As a result, mental health professionals often have difficulty articulating their position on a variety of topics, and that’s leading to a lack of clarity on mental health and stigma in the public discourse.
